ईश उपनिषद्
Isha Upanishad
The Lord who pervades all
One of the shortest yet most profound Upanishads, on the divine that indwells all things.
Set in the Shukla Yajurveda, the Isha (Ishavasya) Upanishad of eighteen verses opens 'īśāvāsyam idaṃ sarvam' — all this is pervaded by the Lord — teaching renunciation-in-action and the harmony of knowledge and works.
