Karma
Action and its consequence
Karma is the law by which every action bears fruit, shaping experience across lives.
Karma means both 'action' and the moral consequence of action. The Gita distinguishes karma (action), akarma (inaction) and vikarma (wrong action), and teaches nishkama karma — acting without attachment to results as a path to freedom.
