मोक्ष
Moksha
Liberation, the fourth purushartha
Moksha is release from the cycle of birth and death — the highest goal of human life.
Moksha is freedom (mukti) from samsara and the realisation of one's true nature. The traditions describe it variously — as identity with Brahman (Advaita), as loving union with the Lord (bhakti schools) — but all hold it as the supreme aim among the four purusharthas.
