Vaisheshika
The school of categories and atoms
The darshana that analyses reality into fundamental categories (padartha).
Founded on Kanada's sutras, Vaisheshika classifies reality into padarthas such as substance, quality and action, and proposes an early atomism (paramanu). It is traditionally paired with Nyaya.
