Jnana
The path of knowledge
Jnana is liberating knowledge of the Self and Brahman.
Jnana yoga proceeds by discernment (viveka) between the real and unreal, dispassion (vairagya) and enquiry (vichara), culminating in direct realisation. It is the way emphasised in Advaita Vedanta.
