Significance & StoryDhumavati is the wisdom hidden in loss, hunger and emptiness. Depicted as the widow (beyond consort and form), she teaches detachment and the freedom found when all supports fall away. Though inauspicious in appearance, she grants profound peace and dispassion, and removes all troubles for the sincere devotee.
