Shiva Panchakshara Stotram — recitation

Coming soon

अर्थ

Meaning
Salutations to Shiva, of the syllable 'na' — who wears the serpent-king as a garland, three-eyed, smeared with ash, the great Lord, eternal, pure and sky-clad. To 'ma' — worshipped with sandal and Ganga's waters, lord of Nandi and the ganas. To 'shi' — the sun to Gauri's lotus face, destroyer of Daksha's sacrifice, the blue-throated, bull-bannered. To 'va' — whose crown is honoured by sages Vasishtha, Agastya and Gautama, whose eyes are moon, sun and fire. To 'ya' — of yaksha form, matted-haired, holding the pinaka, eternal and sky-clad. One who recites this holy Panchakshara before Shiva attains Shiva's realm and rejoices with him.
